In a recent announcement on social media, a representative from the Canadian eatery chain Tim Hortons revealed their imminent debut in Bengaluru. Ravi Makwana, the Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons India, declared, “Bengaluru, brace yourself for the delightful taste of our French Vanilla and much more.“
Presently, Tim Hortons boasts over 19 outlets spread across the Indian cities, including New Delhi, Chandigarh, Gurugram, Noida, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, and Mumbai.
While the precise location of the upcoming Bengaluru outlet is currently undisclosed, it is anticipated to be strategically situated in a high-traffic area, poised to attract a substantial number of consumers to its doors.
The Coffeehouse giant made a stupendous debut in the Indian market last years. The Chain foray into the Indian market in August 2022 by inaugurating two branches in the National Capital Region (NCR), as part of an exclusive master franchise agreement with AG Café.
The retail conglomerate Apparel Group and Gateway Partners, an emerging markets alternative investment manager, collaborated to form a joint venture entity, which is known as AG Café.
The franchise has unveiled an ambitious strategy to launch upwards of 120 coffeehouses across India within the next 36 months, a plan that was previously reported by IndiaRetailing in January.
Additionally, Timmie’s is actively exploring some prominent locations to flourish into the other markets such as Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru.
The chain is globally operated by Restaurant Brands International Inc., that has expanded its presence to over 5100 restaurants across 15 countries. Furthermore, the chain is a popular multinational coffeehouse and restaurant chain headquartered in Toronto, which was established by Canadian hockey players Tim Horton and Jim Charade in 1964.
